Our Pastor & his wife

Dominic and Carol Montgomery are from Belfast in Northern Ireland. They clearly felt the call of God to come to Athlone in a church planting role beginning on 1st August 1990 with the support and encouragement of Baptist Missions.

Cherith, Athlone Baptist church was constituted and formed in 2005 and gave Dominic the call to be its pastor in 2008. Since that time church members have always been encouraged to serve in various roles for the Church and those who comprise the present Cherith Leadership Team minister in various capacities within it.
